Tsunami is for anyone who moves between bright and dark and does not want to stop and change lenses. The photochromic lens reacts to light, darkening in the sun and clearing as light drops, so one pair takes you from midday to dusk.

Choose your lens:

  • Day / Night: goes from near clear to dark, ideal for all-day wear.
  • Clear / Grey: a lighter range for mostly lower-light use.

The 8 base decentred polycarbonate lens wraps around for wide coverage and accurate vision without distortion at the edges. It is shatterproof and certified to ballistic standards.

The matte black TR90 Grilamid frame is light, flexible and tough, with non-slip temple tips that keep it in place.

How does a photochromic lens work?

The lens darkens when exposed to UV light and clears again as the light fades. It adjusts automatically, so you never need to change lenses.

Do photochromic lenses work behind a car windscreen?

Most windscreens block UV, so photochromic lenses darken less while driving. For driving in bright sun, a fixed Smoke lens like Revolver or Jager is the better choice.

Which lens option should I choose?

Day / Night suits all-day outdoor use. Clear / Grey suits people who spend more time in lower light and want a lighter tint.

Are Tsunami sunglasses ballistic rated?

Yes. They are certified to EN166, ANSI Z87.1 and AS/NZS 1337.1, and exceed US military ballistic requirements.
