Velocity Reactive Z Series is built for shooters who rely on an optic. Developed with Carl Zeiss Vision, each 2.4mm shatterproof Zeiss lens improves how clearly you see a red dot, reflex or holographic sight, so your reticle stays crisp against the target.
Choose from three Zeiss lens tints, or get all three in one kit:
- Phlox: high contrast for range work. Not suitable for driving.
- HSV Orange: lifts contrast in mixed and lower light.
- Vermillion: sharpens target definition in bright conditions.
The matte black Grilamid frame is light and tough, with low profile temples that sit comfortably with earmuffs. The adjustable nose pad gives a secure fit, and lenses swap in seconds with no tools. Every lens comes with a Carl Zeiss lens certificate.
Need a prescription? The RX adaptor fits behind the ballistic lens. In the box: frame, lens, retainer strap, hard case and cleaning cloth.

How do Zeiss lenses help with a red dot sight?
The Zeiss lens tints are designed to improve contrast and clarity when looking through red dot, reflex and holographic sights, so the reticle appears sharper against the target.
Which Zeiss lens colour should I choose?
Phlox suits range shooting, HSV Orange helps in mixed or lower light, and Vermillion works well in bright conditions. The three-lens kit covers every scenario.
Can I drive with the Phlox lens?
No. The Phlox lens is not suitable for driving. Use HSV Orange or Vermillion instead.
Are they ballistic rated?
Yes. The Z Series is certified to EN166, AS/NZS 1337.1 and STANAG 2920, and exceeds the US military ballistic impact requirement for spectacles (MIL-PRF-31013, clause 3.5.1.1).
Can I buy extra Zeiss lenses later?
Yes. Velocity Reactive Z Series replacement lenses are sold separately in each colour.
